How To Play

In the game

The Game Interface provides the player with all the info they need.

The Theme Icon is displayed on the top-left corner and tells you in which category the questions you’ll be answering belong. The game name, prize value and the window’s minimize and close controls are on the top-right.

The Game Room includes the central Q&A box, where you’ll be able to read the questions and possible answers.

The time counter tells you how much time is remaining. You can see the difficulty level for your current question at the bottom of the page.

There are two types of questions:
Multiple Choice – Choose the correct answer out of four possible answers by clicking the button to its left. If you get the question right, you’ll see a green check mark; get it wrong and a red X will appear next to your answer while a green check mark will pop up next to the right one.

True/False – Decide if the statement in the question is true or not. Select True to accept the statement or False to reject it.

Game Helpers
Two game helpers are located at the bottom of the Q&A box, Skip and 50/50. Next to each game helper is a counter to show you how many times it’s been used.

The 50/50 Helper – On Multiple Choice questions, this helper takes out two wrong answers, leaving the correct and one other incorrect answer to choose from. The helper is not available on True/ False question games.

The Skip It Helper – You can reject this question without affecting your ranking.

Lives – Some Jackpot games feature ‘Lives’ in place of the multiplayer games helpers. When available, Lives will keep you in the game when you choose the wrong answer. So keep an eye on those hearts beating in the lives’ counter!

Exit Stations – A special feature in Jackpot games that allows you to exit the game with a portion of the prize. Make sure you check the exit station scheme before you join the game.

The Ranking Box
The Ranking box has two sets of information: your personal ranking (My ranking) and the game’s Overall Ranking. The personal ranking displays the number of correct answers out of total questions not skipped, followed by your current position and whether you’re going up or down in the rankings. The Overall Ranking features a live leaderboard where players are listed in order of ranking and includes their success rate and whether their last answer was right or wrong.

My Ranking – Your personal game information includes:
  • Correct Answers – Ratio and percentage of questions answered correctly.
  • Place # – Your place on the game’s leaderboard.
  • Ranking Tendency – Going up or down the ranking leaderboard

Overall Ranking –The Game overview and leaderboard includes:
  • Correct Answers – The number of questions you’ve got right out of the number you haven’t skipped.
  • Success ratio indicator – Shows whether the player is above (+) or below (-) the 50% required for qualification.
